Some foamiran flowers

I had a lovely play with foamiran and moulds on Saturday morning, and this is the result.

I used a Find It! Holly Jolly die set for the card base and layer.  I thought the oval die that I picked up from Ebay would be the perfect base for the Eiffel Tower embellishment.

I made all the flowers from foamiran, I love how those sweet little tulips turned out.  The dies are all Rosy Dot from Noor Design.  They also have the new flower dies that are perfect for foamiran, so pop across for a peek.

I had such fun making this card!

Magical Day

Here’s my third card for the Whimsy release, and it’s the one I had the most fun making.  I love taking dies and adapting them, like I did with the doily by transforming it into a tag to pop behind the top layer.
I’ve used the Doodled Doily Die, along with the Shine Bright sentiment stamp set and the Wish upon a Star stamp set.  Love how these two stamp sets work together.
I wanted a tag large enough to take the fab-u-lasss sentiment, and the doily fitted the top of the tag like it was made for it Smile
I’m afraid the heat distressed organza ribbon is in use again, I just LOVE the effect.
I used 13@arts glitter paint on the flowers and frame to add a bit of sparkle, and also popped some Prills into the frame and around the flowers for a bit added texture.  I glued the heart shaped frame onto a tag that came with the Alice’s Dreams papers, it has the sweetest sentiment printed on it which I totally obliterated with the Prills lol.
The tag tucks in neatly although it does look rather top heavy in this shot!
This card is just so me, pretty and pink lol.

Mother’s Day

I’m back with my second card for March’s Whimsy Stamps release.  Today’s card features the clear Mother Love sentiment stamp set, and it’s another fab set for sure!

I love that it has longer sentiments which are perfect for inside the card.

I cut out a bird from the reverse side of the designer paper and popped it behind the resin frame.

Ugh, I struggled with the lighting for this card, all photos were taken one after the other yet each one’s colour and light is totally different.  I really can’t wait for sunny days!!

Back tomorrow with another (pink!!) card for the new release Winking smile

Wee Freesia

The Whimsy Stamps March 2017 release party has started over on the Whimsy Stamps and Inspirations Facebook group. Pop across to join in with games, fun, and a chance to win Whimsy prizes too.

We are releasing new red rubber images, clear stamp sets and dies.  Everything is available here, so do pop across to see all of the new stamping goodness.  I’ve popped a video link to the March release showcase at the end of the post, it’s just a couple of minutes long and worth a peek to see all the fab new goodies.

I’m using Freesia on my card today along with the sweetest sentiment from the Clearly Shine Bright sentiment stamp set.

I used a slightly wider organza ribbon to crinkle on this card, I think I prefer the pop this wider ribbon gives.

I used Alice’s Dreams paper pad from Scrap and Craft – I think thisis my all time favourite paper pad, it’s simply delicious!

I’ll be back tomorrow with another card featuring stamps from the new release.

Thinking of you

It’s another shabby card from me, I just love this style which works so well with the Whimsy Stamps Clearly range.

I’ve used a few sets on this one – Bold Banners for the sentiment,  Flight of the Butterflies and Lovely Lavender for the butterflies and Lovely Lavender for the chicken wire that I stamped randomly ono the top layer.  I didn’t use a stamping block when stamping the chicken wire as I wanted an uneven, distressed look to the stamping.

I gave the flowers a coat of 13@rts glitter paint.  The doily die is Prima as is the large lacy leaves, the trailing leaves are Rosy Owl.

I popped a seam binding bow into the flower arrangement for a change from twine and organza.

The paper is Floral Muse
